How big is Posterous? (and why I love them)
A lot of young Internet startups hide their size and stats... at least until they are much bigger. It's understandable. But Posterous is not like "other startups." From Day 1, I've appreciated the transparancy of this great company. In addition to being so transparant, they work hard at being responsive to their users' feedback... and they adapt to meet their needs. Thanks Posterous Team for what may be the best tool I've seen in years. Keep it up!
Read Posterous Goes Bare: Shows Us All Its Stats by Liz Gannes.
The stats highlights: Posterous has 12.3 million blogs hosted, and is growing at a steady pace. In September, Posterous had 6 million visitors to its sites- now they are at 9.2 million monthly visitors. They continue to grow in the crowded and competitive "micro blog" world because of their innovation, hard work, responsiveness and transparancy. This article was tweeted by Rich Pearson, VP of Marketing at Posterous. You can follow Rich (as I do) at http://twitter.com/richiepear. How's that for transparancy!

Posterous Maintenance Sunday Night
Posterous will be down on Sunday Jan 23rd, 2011 for a scheduled maintenance at 10pm PST for 20 minutes. They tweeted that they will be improving the indexing function of pages on the sites. This is another commitment to making Posterous Websites a possible replacement for a "traditional" website.

Posterous Issues Repaired
I reported earlier that Posterous was having issues with theme and post updates this morning. They have repaired the glitch (it was a caching issue) and all is good in the hood. Posterous is known for transparency and rapid response... and they keep living up to their excellent reputation!
