FBML Postmortem
FBML dies tomorrow. It will continue to breathe on life support provided by Facebook... but it is effectively dead. Facebook will "pull the plug" sometime in the future. As Allfacebook.com says, most people will ignore this death notification until Facebook actually buries their custom tab.
If you are one of the few who stay on top of all things Facebook, and if you have custom tabs now (my clients have quote tabs and Agency Profile tabs)... please take a minute to read this excellent article: Everything You Need To Know About The Death Of FBML.
And don't worry... I got your back.

The Static FBML Bible by Tim Ware of Hyperarts
Got Static FBML hunger? Are you a do-it-yourselfer? This is the authoritative text for designing custom Facebook Pages in Static FBML. And all for just $49! Get The Static FBML Bible now. Author Tim Ware of Hyperarts.com has invested hundreds of hours in researching, designing and generally pushing the boundaries of everything Static FBML can do for you.
(Note: you should have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS in order to benefit from this resource)
I personally hired Tim Ware as a consultant last year and felt that I received some of the best technical help I've ever received for the money. Tim has led the way in figuring out the nuances of Static FBML. He calls his new book The Static FBML Bible and this is not hype or oversell. I strongly recommend the book for any and all who need one simple resource for Facebook Page design.
